A ROADMAP FOR YEMEN
Transitioning From Conflict To Peace
In the Spring of 2018, ten students came together to develop and present on the appropriate processes that bridge the Humanitarian, Development, Peace and Governance nexus to deliver a Roadmap for Yemen's reconstruction.
I wrote specifically on the peace negotiations and the critical importance of the inclusion of women in Track I negotiations. You can read the full policy report below, including my policy recommendations on how inclusive action now can have an enormous impact on the creation and maintenance of sustainable peace in Yemen.
I also created the War to Peace Continuum that illustrated the overlapping phases of humanitarian aid, peace negotiations, recovery, development, and statebuilding seen in the report.
This report was developed as part of the Certificate in Diplomacy Capstone Project. You can read the shortened version of my argument in the blog post on this website.
